After years in the corporate world, Marlene wanted to build something where the value of the work, and the people behind it, could not be overlooked.
The first ambition was simple: greater security, more freedom and a business that could fit around real life. OutsourceCloud grew from that starting point into a way of working that puts clarity, understanding and genuine support at the centre of the client relationship.
That still shapes the business today. Accounting should not mean receiving a report and being left to work out what it says. The numbers should be explained, understood and useful, so you have a clearer picture of the business behind them.

Marlene brings more than 18 years of accounting experience to OutsourceCloud, combining technical knowledge with a straightforward approach to helping clients understand their finances.
That experience has also been recognised within the profession, including winning the 2025 Accountancy Leadership Award and being named a finalist for Bookkeeper of the Year.
